We just had to know if the Chiropractor has ever put his own back out, and if so, what would he do about it?
Here's the Transcript, in case you missed it:
Have you as a Chiropractor ever put your back out?
One of the things I believe makes a person a successful health practitioner, whether it be a Chiropractor, medical doctor, or a dentist, is to actually experience the pain that your patients have been in. And me as an athlete and a "weekend warrior" still, I'm always hurting myself, and as a result always trying to treat myself, or being treated. So that's given me a very good flavour of what pain is like: different types of pain and from that I not only can empathize and sympathize but appreciate what the person is going through. And when a patient does come into my office I like to treat them the way I like to be treated when I'm elsewhere. And that's my philosophy in treatment. So yes, I've experienced it, basically all! I could go through the long list but I wouldn't want to keep you here all day.
Thanks for sharing Dr. B.
