Dr. Ghag, known to her close friends and family as TJ, is a licensed Naturopathic Physician who is passionate about hearing your unique health story and providing guidance where needed. A firm believer in individualized health, Dr. Ghag strives to identify the root cause of dysfunction as she believes there is no single cause. Using a multidisciplinary approach, Dr. Ghag will work with you to explore any physiological imbalances, mental emotional triggers, life stressors, and environmental toxicities and create a unique treatment plan that caters to your needs.
Born and raised in Vancouver, Dr. Ghag graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor in Health Sciences. She later went on to attend the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, Ontario where she received her Doctorate of Naturopathy. With her clinical internship, she had the opportunity to treat patients at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic, The Brampton Civic Hospital, and the Sherbourne Health Centre.
Through her four years of study, Dr. Ghag received training in a range of modalities that allow her to help patients reach their goals of optimal health. These include Botanical/Herbal Medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture, Cupping, Clinical Nutrition, Lifestyle Counseling, Physical Therapies (intramuscular stimulation, transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation), and IV therapy. In addition to these, Dr. Ghag has full prescribing authority in the province of BC and has her CISSN designation (Certified Sports Nutritionist from the International Society of Sports Nutrition).
Dr. Ghag has experience treating a variety of conditions including but not limited to eczema, arthritis (OA and RA), fatigue, anxiety, low mood, digestive concerns, diabetes, sports injuries, pain management, menstrual irregularities, and menopause.
